What we do

SURF provides a simplified, structured audit system to record and monitor cardiovascular risk factor management in daily practice. The repeatability, adaptability, and effectiveness allow SURF to be applied in all clinics, regardless of resources.

SURF CHD aims to assess risk factor recording of CHD patients during routine clinic visits, describe their risk factor management, achievement of risk factor targets and a healthy lifestyle, and the use of cardiovascular medications. In summary, SURF – as showed in SURF CHD pilot and phase I study – provides an objective assessment of risk factor recording and control in a wide range of centres, countries, and regions.
