The SURF Programme is established by the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, part of University Medical Center Utrecht, Trinity College in Dublin, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and the European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC).

With the SURF clinical audits, these institutions aim to improve the recording and monitoring of cardiovascular risk factors around the world.
