The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is an independent, non-profit organisation. The ESC represents more than 95,000 health professionals in the field of cardiology from Europe, the Mediterranean basin and internationally through its affiliated countries.

The European Association of Preventive Cardiology is the ‘arm’ of the ESC that has special expertise in prevention.
