SURF is an international clinical audit that aims to simplify the recording and management of cardiovascular risk factors in routine cardiology clinics for patients with established coronary heart disease. A welcome initiative by University Medical Centre Utrecht and Trinity College Dublin in collaboration with the European Society of Cardiology.
SURF is an initiative of the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, and Trinity College Dublin. Since the start of the first SURF pilot in 2008 several health researchers from other health research institutes and universities have joined.
